About Us

WHO WE ARE

A Few Words About Us

We are a group of professional journalists from across Africa who are dedicated to the promotion of the benefits of safe environment and the health of Africans through agricultural practices that work in tandem with nature.
Journalists Go Organic is a non-profit organization run entirely on private donations and grants.
We advocate and support agriculture and clean environmental practices that will ensure quality health for Africans.
We are equally dedicated to knowledge-sharing amongst African journalists on the developments and innovations that will encourage intra-African businesses.
However, having realized that a race is on against the deteriorating health of the earth and its inhabitants, and the effects of climate change, every citizen has to be involved.
We have therefore decided to go the way of Citizens Journalism.
Through Citizens Journalism we empower individuals to say no to toxins of any type in our society and stop the use of fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides that are dangerous to health .
We give African citizens a voice to ask questions and offer African solutions to the problems confronting their lives and environment.
Journalists Go Organic is really aimed at promoting wellness amongst the people of Africa. It is an African initiative comprising, and drawing on the strengths and reach of, seasoned journalists across the length an breadth of the continent.
We advocate the development of agricultural innovations for the production, and consumption of, healthy and adequate food for the people of Africa.

WHAT WE DO

We promote voices for healthy food and environment by advocating Eco friendliness.
We amplify knowledge about agroecology among farmers and allies, we focus on integrating practice, science, and policy shifts in Agriculture and Environment businesses.
We equally undertake Training of Journalists on effective communication on specialiZed topics, advocacy and education on ecofriendly issues and
awareness creation on the knowledge ease of intra African trade.
We advocate support for biodiversity: our entire support system for human, as well as animal life, would collapse without biodiversity, as well as advocate the success of agroecology in contributing to community resilience to curb climate change.
